‘Baby Jane’ is an adaptation – by Australian writer Ed Wightman – of the novel ‘Whatever Happened to Baby Jane’ by Henry Farrell.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It isn’t the film version turned into a play.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It follows the increasingly twisted dynamics between two sisters bound to each other by their involvement in a terrible car accident, and now living in virtual seclusion.\u00a0 Jane is a former child star desperate to reclaim her early fame, and Blanche, a successful Hollywood actress whose career ended tragically as a result of the accident. \u00a0

It’s a play that focuses on frustrated dreams, childhood exploitation and desperation.<\/span><\/p>\n
