1980s Yorkshire. It’s the morning of her son’s wedding, and housewife Betty has taken herself to the roof-space in a state of crisis.

Struggling to accept that her son is leaving home, abandoning her to a stagnant life with an emotionally absent husband, Betty roots through old keepsakes and relives her long-lost youth, as well as the passionate love affair she’d almost forgotten about. And when Craze, her former Polish lover, appears again, change is on the horizon.

An at times highly comedic and poignant tale of almost ‘Sliding Doors’ chances, exploring themes of love, repression and identity, and the consequences of passion.
