Les Misérables – Let the People Sing – BMOS

Let The People Sing! is a UK-wide amateur theatre project celebrating the 40th anniversary of the worldwide phenomenon, Les Misérables. The project will see 11 community-wide productions of Les Misérables mounted across the UK, with performances at The Alexandra Birmingham showcasing the best of amateur theatre in the Midlands.

BMOS presents Les Misérables “Let the People Sing”
Seen by over 130m people in 53 countries and 22 different languages, and based on the acclaimed novel by Victor Hugo, Les Misérables features one of theatre’s greatest scores. Filled with evocative and emotional songs which have stood the test of time, including I Dreamed a Dream, On My Own, Bring Him Home, One Day More, Master Of The House and more.

Set against the backdrop of 19th century France, Les Misérables is a dramatic masterpiece of love, war, redemption and conflict. A true testament to the survival of the human spirit, the story of Jean Valjean and his quest for redemption has secured the place of Les Misérables as the world’s favourite musical.

Epic and uplifting, Les Misérables packs an emotional punch that has thrilled audiences all over the world and continues to hold the title of the West-End’s longest running musical.
