Join Encore Players for an evening of laughter as they present two brand-new sitcoms, performed back-to-back for the very first time.

If you enjoy classic British sitcoms packed with larger-than-life characters, misunderstandings and plenty of laughs, then this is the perfect night out. Both shows are family-friendly and promise an entertaining evening of original comedy.

During the interval, why not treat yourself to a slice of homemade cake and enjoy a drink from our (cash only) licensed bar before settling back for the second performance?

Please note that these productions take place in the local community centre as part of Encore Players’ grassroots theatre programme. It’s a relaxed, informal setting where we develop and premiere new writing, giving audiences the chance to see original comedy before anyone else. After the performance, you’re warmly invited to stay for a drink and chat with the cast and creative team.

A wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life… but what happens when almost everything that can go wrong does?

Will the bride make it to the ceremony? Will the groom ever find his suit? Can the best man remember where he put the rings? And is there anyone planning to object?

Packed with misunderstandings, last-minute panic and plenty of laughs, Suited and Booted is a fast-paced comedy that proves weddings are never quite as straightforward as they seem.
